Coronavirus – Choir Rehearsals for April to July 2020

As we are unable to continue our usual rehearsals the choir will now be holding virtual sessions on Zoom every Wednesday from 7.30pm.

These sessions will be run by Jeremy and are a chance to see some familiar faces, have a chat, a bit of fun and also sing a few songs.

All choir members welcome, if you don’t know how to join the session contact us via the website or email and we will send you instructions.

We look forward to seeing you all there

Come and join us at Bristol Voices… we’ll put rhythm in your step and joy in your heart!

Who we are

We’re a well-established community a cappella choir, run by our members – and anyone is welcome to join. No experience is necessary, there are no auditions and you don’t need to read music. All you need is a love of singing and a desire to learn new songs.

In Jeremy Avis, we have an inspirational and very popular musical director. See his website for examples of his work and background.

How to join

If you’re interested in joining the choir we’d love to see you.

Anyone can come for a free taster session any Wednesday during the school term – you’ll be guaranteed a warm welcome.

For more details, or to let us know you’re coming, get in touch via the Contact us page. Otherwise just turn up on the night – on arrival, ask to speak to one of our committee members and they’ll make you feel at home.

Choir sessions are 7.30 – 9.30pm at St Werburgh’s Primary School, James Street, Bristol BS2 9US.

Please check our When & Where page for dates as we only practice during school term time.

What better way to spend a Wednesday evening and put a smile on your face!

Watch us performing

We aim to arrange at least one performance a term, most of which we combine with raising money for different charities.  We always have a great time performing.  Check out our ‘News‘ page for the latest performances.
