Fees and how to pay

Coronavirus – Autumn Term 2020

The autumn term will start on Wednesday 2nd September, and we will break for half term on Wednesday 28th October. We will continue with rehearsals on Zoom at least until half-term when the Committee will reassess the situation and government guidelines.
We are therefore going to split fees into two payments, one payment per half term, so that, if needed, we can amend fees in the second half of term to reflect any changes to our rehearsals.
It was fantastic that so many choir members paid full fees last term, this really helped the choir adapt to the extraordinary situation we find ourselves in, thank you. However, we appreciate that this has been a financially difficult time for some people and we are therefore offering the same fee payment option as we did last term:
  • Normal fee: £48
  • Reduced fee: £32
  • No fee

Fees:  Payment is required in advance for each term; paying for the total number of weeks within the term you are attending.

Each session costs £6 each, so for example a term of 14 weeks will cost a total of £84 and will be required to be paid in advance of that term.  Concessions* run at £4 per session and using the same example above, a total of £56 will be required to be paid in advance.

We do not accept one off payments for attending odd sessions throughout each term, however, we do run a drop-in card system  – see below.

*Please note, our concessionary rate is aimed at people on very low incomes. The rate is there for people whose sole income is state benefit, or pensioners who only receive a state pension and no other income. The rate is also available for full time students and under 18’s. We rely 100% on our membership fees to cover our costs.

Ways to pay:

We accept payment by:

  • cheque
  • cash
  • online banking

Payment by bank transfer is preferred – please use your name as the payment reference so we can match up payments.

Bank details:

  • Lloyds Bank
  • Account number:  37998760
  • Sort Code:  30-90-89

Drop-in card:

If you know you can’t make every session within a term, then a drop-in card may be a better way to manage payment.  The card allows for 6 sessions at a cost of £48.

If you would like to take advantage of this, please speak with Juliet Fleming, our membership secretary. (click here to view the committee members)
