What happens after May 12th ?
In the two weeks following the concert and the first six weeks of term 6 we'll be inviting four experienced directors to lead the choir for two weeks each on the dates listed below. Following these eight sessions we'll invite one of them to take over as musical director in September.
May 19-26 Jon Conway
June 9-16 Sheila Tang (does not wish to be considered for MD vacancy)
June 23-30 Nicola Ramsden
July 7-14 Sian Penlington
On Wednesday 21st July, the last night of term, we plan to sing a load of old favourites just like we did in the first week of September. We're expecting to have Fran along to go through songs that we'll do at Goldney House.

Information about Sing Bristol
Dear Sing Bristol members
The Sing Bristol Steering Group would like to make an open invitation to everyone to attend the upcoming Sing Bristol meeting to discuss and agree upon the network's next steps.
Since we met at the Colston Hall in January and agreed that a network should be established with a clear (flexible) set of aims and objectives the Steering Group have met several times to create (with the input of the wider group) a Vision Document and Statement and the beginnings of an identity. We would now like to invite the wider group to set the goals for the next period and agree a way forward.
The meeting will be held at SoundWorks in Southville (please see www.thesoundworks.ning.com/page/getting-to-soundworks for address and directions) between 3pm and 6pm on the 4th July.
One of our priorities is to continue to expand the membership of the group so that it is as inclusive as possible so please feel free to share this invitation with members of other choral groups that might not have heard about the network but might be interested in getting involved.
I would appreciate if you could email me at info@gatheringvoices.org.uk to let me know if you will be coming.
With kind regards
Hannah
(on behalf of Sing Bristol)
