We welcome singers of all abilities who are interested in learning to sing a capella in four part harmony.

Our weekly Wednesday evening sessions are enjoyable and friendly. We learn new material and sing songs we already know. Our repertoire is eclectic; we range across the world from South America to Georgia, from Finland to South Africa; across time from medieval England to contemporary original compositions; and stylistically from pop to opera.
We aim to improve our singing week by week through the expert guidance of our inspirational musical director Jeremy Avis. Teaching tracks, words and music are downloadable for members to practice wherever they are. You don’t need to read music; we build our songs learning by ear to a performance standard, and there’s a great thrill in performing well to an appreciative audience.
We usually perform in public about three times a year, but there’s no obligation on members to take part – lots of us just like to sing together for the joy of it.
We meet during school terms at St. Werburghs Primary School on Wednesdays at 7:20 pm for a 7:30 pm start.
Our current fees work out at £7.50 per session (£5.00 for concessions) and your first taster session is free.
