Bristol Voices will be joined by the Gasmen Collective for a double bill of a cappella harmonies at Horfield Baptist Church Hall, Gloucester Road, Bristol at 7:30 pm 16th May.
We’re in rehearsal now with several new pieces we hope to include. We’re digging into the glories of some 1970’s pop to give our take on some great classics, and exploring both some more contemporary songs, and some which go back even further – right back to 16th century France, and a piece by Pierre Passereau which is challenging us with its complexity and tempo!
This will be a varied and interesting programme, conducted by our music director Jeremy Avis.
We aim to enjoy our singing, and hope that you will enjoy listening. Non-alcoholic refreshments will be available in the interval.
The concert is raising funds for Borderlands, a charity supporting refugees and vulnerable migrants.
Tickets are for sale through Snappytickets. Numbers are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment!
Borderlands will also welcome direct donations through their localgiving page
