Thinking of joining? We’d love to see you!
Here’s all the information you need:
WHEN: The choir meets on Wednesday evenings 7.30-9.30pm, term time only.
Come along at 7.20pm for a free taster session on any Wednesday. You’ll be met at the door by one of our friendly committee members who will show you the ropes.
Sessions start at 7.30pm prompt so please arrive in good time.
If, after that, you’d like to join the choir, we’ll ask you to bring payment the following week for the remainder of that term.
Winter Term 2024 – 12 weeks
3 January to 27 March (Half term break: 14 February)
FEES: Sessions cost £7.50 each, or £5 concessionary rate so the fee for the full term is £90 (or £60 concs, see * below). Payment is required in advance for each term.
*Please note, our concessionary rate is aimed at people on very low incomes. The rate is there for people whose sole income is state benefit, or pensioners who only receive a state pension and no other income. The rate is also available for full time students and under 18’s. We rely 100% on our membership fees to cover our costs.
We do not accept one off payments for attending odd sessions throughout each term, however, we do run a drop-in card system – details are available on request.
We accept payment by cheque, cash or online banking. Please subscribe to obtain the bank details from our ‘members’ area’.
WHERE: we practice at St Werburgh’s Primary School, James Street, St Werburgh’s, Bristol, BS2 9US. Click here for location map.
PLEASE NOTE: The primary school is split over two sites that are close to each other. The one we rehearse in is ON James Street.
Come in via the school entrance at the top of the car park where you’ll be met by one of our committee members. If you arrive late and the front doors are locked ring the bell on the left hand outer door and someone will come and let you in. If we are singing we may not hear the bell, but persevere!
There are bike racks outside the main door, a small car park in front of the school and plenty of free on-street parking. The hall, toilets and car parking are fully accessible. Please note that anyone using the car park does so at their own risk. Please contact us if you need further information.
