When
Wednesday evenings 7.30 to 9.30pm, term time only.
First timers have a free taster session on any Wednesday. Just turn up or contact us in advance. You’ll be met at the door by one of our friendly committee members who will explain what we do and give you the words for what we’ll be singing. If you decide to join the choir, we’ll ask for payment the following week for the remainder of that term.
Sessions start at 7.30pm prompt so please arrive in good time.
Term dates and fees
Autumn Term 2026
- 9th September to 21st October, then
- 4th November to 16th December
- Half term break – no session on 28th October
- NB There will be no session on 2nd December
Fees
Pre paid sessions cost £7.50 each, or £5 concessionary rate*
The fees for the autumn term will be:
- Full fee for 13 weeks – £97.50 (concessions – £65)
- First half of term, 7 weeks – £52.50 (conc. – £35)
- Second half of term, 6 weeks – £45 (conc. – £30)
Payment is preferred in advance for each full term, but can be accepted per half term in advance We accept payment only by BACS. Please subscribe on our home page to obtain the bank details from our ‘members’ area’.
*Please note, our concessionary rate is aimed at people on very low incomes. The rate is there for people whose sole income is state benefit, or pensioners who only receive a state pension and no other income. The rate is also available for full time students and under 18’s. We rely 100% on our membership fees to cover our costs.
Occasional attendance: We do not accept one off payments for attending odd sessions throughout each term, however, we do run a drop-in card system – details are available on request.
Where
We practice at St Werburgh’s Primary School, James Street, St Werburgh’s, Bristol, BS2 9US. Click here for location map.
PLEASE NOTE: The primary school is split over two sites that are close to each other. The one we rehearse in is ON James Street.
Come in via the school entrance at the top of the car park where you’ll be met by one of our committee members. If you arrive late and the front doors are locked ring the bell on the left hand outer door and someone will come and let you in. If we are singing we may not hear the bell, but persevere!
There are bike racks outside the main door, a small car park in front of the school and plenty of free on-street parking. The hall, toilets and car parking are fully accessible. Please note that anyone using the car park does so at their own risk. Please contact us if you need further information.
